Pembroke Gun & Range

Great shooting range. And a gun shop. It's a bit hard to find . As it is located inside of Pembroke business park. And have many businesses in the area. There are 18 shooting ranges. And the place is usually busy. You can bring your own gun or rifle. Or rent for a fee. Ear and eye protection are mandatory. Also, it can be rented for $2 each. And targets for $1.50-$3. The entrance to the range is $18.

Excellent indoor range at a really good location close to i95 with very friendly and knowledgeable staff! They are willing to help and advise you with maintenance or modification to your firearms. They have an annual membership plan that lets you shoot all year for one price! They sell firearms, ammo, and accessories. They offer concealed weapon permit certification as well. Five Stars!!! There is usually always someone around the range at night to answer questions. They take good care of the range to make sure nobody slips and trips and falls slipping on all the spent brass!!! This is a good joint to shoot at!!!

Brian and Campbell are amazing.. My 10 year old and I came in for the first time as we are from Boston Massachusetts visiting Hollywood Florida for a baseball tournament.. My son went in scared and Brian and Campbell made him so comfortable that he didn’t even want to leave he loved it soo much.. These guys know their guns and their gun safety place is very clean and they have many guns to choose from.. Highly recommend for all levels

The range itself is nice and fairly priced. My reason for two stars is their shooting "instructor" Steven. We walked in asking about lessons, and the guys at the counter said he's the best. Steven has the patience of a toddler and gets frustrated easily. For example, he demonstrated how to aim and shoot, then got angry that we didn't hit the center of the target on our first try ever shooting a gun. He got really upset "at all the fidgeting" as we made sure we are holding the gun correctly. Steven impatiently said that he showed us once, there is absolutely no reason we shouldn't get it right the very first time. All in all, it was not a great experience and I can't say this "instructor" instilled any confidence in us that we can adequately handle a gun. I'm very disappointed and will be looking for a different range to patronize.

Visited again for my friend’s birthday party and had a blast ;) This range is the best in the area, hands down. They have 12+ lanes, an array of guns for trial practice and loaner eyewear/ear muffs. The staff are also friendly, knowledgeable and helpful for a beginner like me. I’ve been here a few times and loved trying out will 100% be back. Highly recommend this range!!

In Ft. Lauderdale for work this week and always try to find some Range time. Called around and it was between Pembroke and Nexus. Nexus looks like a state of the art facility and my first choice but they won’t allow you to rent a firearm if you are by yourself. So that was no go for me. Pembroke was the next choice. My range selection process while traveling are as follow. 1. Range Allow Holster Draw? Yes 2. Range has H&K VP9 for rent? Yes 3. No other restrictions to rent or shoot? No Pembroke checked all the boxes. I travel with my eyes, ears, holsters, and mag holsters. That’s the good. In addition, there was an older gentleman there that watched me shoot and gave me pointers to improve. Overall good experience getting some Range time in while traveling. Ok - The not so good. This range is outdated. You get a toggle switch to move your target back and forth. That’s it. I was hoping to find a range that offered a more advance digital interface for things like mag reload drills, shoot/no shoot, change and advance. Won’t find that here. The ventilation was not that great. I felt hot and suffocated. Ammo was priced at .54/round. A little high in my opinion but would have been ok with that had the range offered more statue of the art features. Bathroom was small, old, and dingy. Location was kind of off too, felt like I was in a storage facility as you have to drive pass by several storage units before arriving to the location. No issues with staff, rental process, or anything else. Staff was friendly, process to rent was easy.
